Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Open House
A CIP is coming to the Municipality of Thames Centre and we want your input!
What is a CIP?
A CIP is a community planning tool used by municipalities to revitalize areas of a community through programs, grants and incentives. If approved by Council, the Municipality may provide financial incentives, in the form of grants, loans, rebates, and tax assistance, to eligible landowners and tenants to help with physical improvements to private property. The project will also include additional insight into the implementation, marketing, and monitoring strategies to better assist the Municipality with the implementation of the CIP.
You're Invited!
The Municipality of Thames Centre invites you to an Open House for the proposed CIP. Representatives from the Municipality and the Consulting Team will be present to obtain community feedback regarding the CIP, including input surrounding where the CIP programs should apply and who is eligible for CIP grant funding.

Time 3pm - 6pm
Location Council Chambers, 4305 Hamilton Rd, Dorchester, ON
The Open House will be a drop-in format, however, a brief presentation will be made at 3:15pm to introduce the Project Team and provide an overview of how feedback can be provided. A portion of the Open House includes Online Participation through Google Jamboard. Should you own a personal electronic device, it is encouraged that it be brought with you to the event.
Unable to attend? Share your feedback virtually!
Jamboard is a digital interactive whiteboard that lets you collaborate in real time using a computer or mobile device. If you are unable to attend the workshop in person, you are still able to provide feedback using the link below or by scanning the QR Code. The first page of the Jamboard provides instructions on how to add feedback. The Jamboard will be left open from November 23 – 28 for comment.
