Community Safety Update - Dogs Seized
Thames Centre – Thames Centre, Ontario, May 5, 2024 - Yesterday, the Middlesex County OPP executed a search warrant on Marion Street in response to reports of aggressive dogs. Twelve dogs were seized with no reported injuries. A 63-year-old resident faces charges under the Dog Owners Liability Act for failing to prevent menacing behavior and attacks. Court appearance is scheduled for June 17, 2024. Ongoing investigation. We want to thank the Middlesex County OPP, Hillside Kennels, our legislative services and by-law teams for all their support.
