Community Improvement Plan (CIP)
Statutory Public Meeting
What is a CIP?
A CIP is a community planning tool used by municipalities to revitalize areas of a community through programs, grants and incentives. If approved by Council, the Municipality may provide financial incentives, in the form of grants, loans, rebates, and tax assistance, to eligible landowners and tenants to help with physical improvements to private property.
You’re Invited!
The Municipality of Thames Centre invites you to the Statutory Public Meeting for the proposed CIP. The Statutory Public Meeting will present the draft proposed municipal and incentive programs and the Municipality will obtain community feedback from Council and the Public regarding the CIP, including input surrounding where the CIP programs should apply and who is eligible for CIP grant funding.
