The Ontario Provincial Police Associations Dancing With The Stars of 911 event was a night to remember! Our Fire Chief Nick Dorken wowed the crowd this past Saturday at this black-tie gala, competing alongside Law Enforcement, Fire, Paramedic, and Military members.
This event supported the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund, an incredible organization that provides life-saving defibrillators in honour of our fallen heroes. This year, they paid tribute to Sapper Brian James Collier.
The night was a huge success, raising over 36K for this vital cause! But another surprise highlight? Nick and his partner Michelle Marko from Middlesex-London Paramedic Service took home the WIN!
Huge shoutout to Nick's wife Michele Mortimer, their amazing instructor and co-director of Element Dance Arts in Cambridge, Ontario.
