More About Boone:
- He grew up in Dorchester and attended Lord Dorchester Secondary School
- Played minor hockey with Dorchester Minor Hockey Association, and continues to support DMHA by hosting annual hockey camps
- Drafted by the OHL Oshawa Generals in 2009
- Represented Team Canada at the World Juniors in 2012 and 2013
- Drafted by the NHL Columbus Blue Jackets in 2011, where he continues to lead the team as their captain
