Municipal Office Parking Lot
Starting at 7am on Tuesday, July 2nd, the Thames Centre Municipal Office at 4305 Hamilton Road, Dorchester, will have restricted access for pedestrians and vehicles due to construction. Regular access is expected to resume by Monday, September 2nd, 2024.
Construction Details
- New water service upgrade
- Sanitary sewer line installation
- Storm sewer upgrades
- New curbs and asphalt parking lot
- Conduit installation for future EV charging stations
Access Information
Visitor Parking: Use the adjacent River Heights Public School parking lot.
Pedestrian Access: An opening in the fence allows foot traffic from the school parking lot to the office’s front door and drop box.
Recreation Access: Vehicles can park at the school parking lot in July & August to access the pool, wading pool, splash pad, and park (with an accessible ramp behind the school).
Accessibility
For anyone with accessibility concerns, please note the following alternatives being made available during this period of time:
- Arranging for assistance via phone, email or virtual meeting (office number 519-268-7334)
- Visit the FlightExec Centre’s administration office, located at 2066 Dorchester Road. This office is open during regular business hours (excluding Canada Day and Civic Holiday) from 8:30am to 4:30pm
