Mayor McMillan Visited The London Children's Museum

Yesterday, Mayor McMillan had the pleasure of visiting the London Children's Museum, one of the recipients of our Community Grants. Which will soon be located at 100 Kellogg Lane, this museum is set to redefine our community's educational landscape!

The museum’s expansion will be doubling its exhibit square footage to create even more immersive and inclusive spaces. What's more, this new development will preserve beloved exhibits like the paleontology lab, dinosaur dig pit, and the community roots exhibit, all designed with input from hundreds of visitors, including the youngest visionaries. They will also provide older children with more opportunities, including access to a woodshop, art studio, and maker space, allowing them to pursue their passions in ways they might not otherwise have had the chance to.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the London Children’s Museum for sharing this exciting journey with us. Together, we're shaping a vibrant future where learning meets creativity, and every child can thrive.
