Royal Field, Ontario’s only fully artificial turfed baseball diamond other than the Rogers Centre, is an elite facility that reached substantial completion of construction on October 14, 2022. Benefits of this premier diamond include a much longer playing season than traditional grass playing surfaces. Royal Field boasts a double batting tunnel, bullpens, brick dugouts and field dimensions the same as what the Toronto Blue Jays play on! This project would not have been possible without the ongoing efforts of Great Lake Canadians Baseball Club, support of Municipal Council and the donation of the outfield turf from the Rogers Centre. This amazing new amenity will be ready for rentals beginning in the spring of 2023.
